70606-0009 - Theater Performance

Inside Meiji 1900s Unknown
Actors performing on a stage in front of an audience of children inside a theater. A “kuroko” (stage assistant dressed in black) can be seen in the front. His head to toe black clothing implies his invisibility on stage. On the far right the outline of musicians playing by candle light can be seen. See blog entry.
