Osaka Meiji 1890s Kozaburo Tamamura
Restaurants and theaters line the street in the entertainment district of Dotonbori in Osaka. During the Meiji Period, the five main theaters were called the Dotonbori Goza. One of them was Asahiza, the building in the background with the yagura wooden stage. See blog entry.
