Electro-Scientific Museum (電気科学館) in Yotsubashi, Nishi-ku, Osaka. The building was completed on March 17, 1937 (Showa 12). It was Japan’s first science museum and featured East Asia’s first planetarium. By the time the building closed in 1989 (Heisei 1), more than 72 million people had visited the museum.
