Three country boys playing in a small stream. In the background are houses with thatched roofs. One of them has a pole with Koinobori (carp streamers) to celebrate Tango no Sekku, popularly known as “Boys’ Day”. It was celebrated on the 5th day of the 5th moon in the lunar calendar.
