The West Gate and Sanju no to (three-storied pagoda) of Kiyomizudera Temple, Kyoto. Sanju no to was built around 1633, the West Gate in 1631. It features a kirizuma structure with hiwada roof. The photographer shot this from the east side of Nio Gate.
