1929 (Showa 4) press photo of Prime Minister Osachi Hamaguchi (濱口雄幸, 1870-1931), known by his nickname the Lion Prime Minister (ライオン宰相). Hamaguchi survived an assasination attempt at Tokyo Station on November 14, 1930 (Showa 5), but resigned in 1931 (Showa 6) due to physical weakness.
