Steam locomotive with the number 6241 hauling passenger cars on the Tokaido Main Line. The line connects Tokyo with West Japan and was completed in 1889 (Meiji 22). The 6200 series locomotives were produced by Glasgow, Scotland based Neilson & Co., Hyde Park Locomotive Works and imported between 1897 (Meiji 30) and 1900 (Meiji 33). The 6200 series locomotives were gradually faced out from around 1914 (Taisho 3).
