Kagawa Meiji 1870s Felice Beato
The lighthouse of Nabeshima (鍋島灯台) in the Inland Sea, Sakaide City (坂出市), Kagawa Prefecture. The lighthouse was designed by the“Father of Japanese lighthouses,” Scotland-born engineer Richard Henry Brunton (リチャード・ヘンリー・ブラントン, 1841–1901). It was built in 1872 (Meiji 5).
