| Kobotoke Pass (小仏峠) near Hachioji (八王子市), Tokyo. The pass lay on the Koshu Kaido (甲州街道), which connected Edo (pre-1868 Tokyo) with Yamanashi and Nagano prefectures. It was one of the five highways of the Edo Period (1603-1868).
