| Yokohama City Hall (横浜町会所) on Honcho-dori in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. It was designed by American architect Richard P. Bridgens (リチャード・ブリジェンス, 1819 -1891) in 1874 (Meiji 7), but destroyed by fire in 1906 (Meiji 39). The Yokohama Port Opening Memorial Hall (横浜市開港記念会館) was built on its location in 1917 (Taisho 6).
Honcho-dori is also called Honmachi-dori in some sources. Maps of the time, however, use Honcho-dori.
