Poster card for the National Industrial Exposition (全国産業博覧会) in Hamamatsu (浜松市), Shizuoka Prefecture, held from March 15 through May 8, 1931 (Showa 6). Some 670,000 people visited. The 55-day exposition was held as part of the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the founding of the city. It was Hamamatsu’s first large-scale event. |
