People crossing the Shin-Ohashi bridge across the Sumidagawa River in Edo (current Tokyo) during heavy rainfall, 1857 (Ansei 4). This is one of the Hiroshige prints that Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh (1853–1890) painted copies of to study the elements that he admired in Japanese woodblock prints. This woodblock print is image 58 in One Hundred Famous Views of Edo (名所江戸百景, Meisho Edo Hyakkei), a series created by ukiyoe artist Utagawa Hiroshige (歌川広重, 1797–1858).
