A rainy evening at Tameike Pond in Edo (current Tokyo), 1859 (Ansei 6).

This woodblock print is part of One Hundred Famous Views of Edo (名所江戸百景, Meisho Edo Hyakkei), a series created by ukiyoe artist Utagawa Hiroshige (歌川広重, 1797–1858).

This print was created by Hiroshige II. It was added to the series after the death of Hiroshige in 1858 to substitute for print 52: Akasaka Kiribatake.
