Advertising postcard for the Yokkaichi Great Exhibition (国産振興四日市大博覧会) held in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture from March 25 to May 13, 1936 (Showa 11).

Mayor Katsutaro Yoshida (吉田勝太郎) was the driving force behind the exhibition, which had a budget comparable to the city’s annual budget. It attracted over 1.2 million visitors and had a significant impact on the city’s economy and the inhabitants’s world view.
