Poster card for the Nagoya Exposition (名古屋博) held at Tsuruma Park (鶴舞公園) in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture from September 15 through November 23, 1928 (Showa 3). The exposition celebrated the enthronement of Emperor Hirohito. Although the emperor ascended to the throne upon the death of his father in 1926, the official Enthronement Ceremony (即位の礼) took place on November 10, 1928. Some 1,940,000 people visited.
