Hikifuda (引札), a print used as an advertising flyer by local shops. They were popular from the 1800s through the 1920s. This print shows three kabuki actors. The writing gives New Year greetings and advertises the Meijido (明治堂) store in Onomae Village, Gunma Prefecture (群馬県群馬郡小野上村). Japanese text: 恭賀新年砂糖銘茶紙類足袋売薬米穀肥料荒物陶磁器金物酒醤油外日用雑貨菓子製造卸小売群馬県小野上村明治堂
