Hikifuda (引札), a print used as an advertising flyer by local shops. They were popular from the 1800s through the 1920s.

This print shows a scene from the kabuki play The Battles of Coxinga (国性爺合戦, Kokusenya Gassen) in which the main protagonist Watonai (和藤内) fights a tiger. The play was written by Japanese dramatist Chikamatsu Monzaemon (近松 門左衛門, 1653–1725) as a bunraku puppet play in 1715.
