Design: Portrait of Sontoku Ninomiya (二宮 尊徳, 1787–1856), a prominent 19th-century Japanese agricultural leader, philosopher, moralist and economist.

He was known as a passionate student. Many Japanese schools have a statue of Ninomiya as a boy reading a book while walking and carrying firewood on his back.
