Memorial card for the launching of the Imperial Japanese Navy destroyer Shiratsuyu (白露) at the Sasebo Naval Arsenal (佐世保海軍工廠) on April 5, 1935 (Showa 10).

Ten Shiratsuyu-class destroyers were in service before and during World War II. All of them were sunk during the conflict.
