Panoramic view of Kobe in Hyogo Prefecture. In the back Kobe Port can be seen. Taken at the same location as #70523-0012, albeit at a different angle. This image is taken earlier as can be seen from the smaller number of buildings.

The slightly messy empty lot in the center’s left is the future location of the Kodera Residence (小寺本邸), now Soraku-en Garden (相楽園). Construction started here in 1885 (Meiji 18).
