Yachiyoza theater (八千代座) in Matsushima Yukaku (松島遊廓, Matsushima prostitution district) of Osaka around 1926 (Showa 1). Completed in 1900 (Meiji 33), Yachiyoza was the first theater in Nishi Osaka. It was very popular until the early years of the Showa Period (1926-1989), and many first class actors performed here.
