Two women look at a Russian cannon captured at the Battle of Port Arthur (旅順港海戦, Ryojunko Kaisen) of 1904 (Meiji 37) located at Minatogawa Jinja, a Shinto shrine in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture. The shrine was also called Nanko. The trophy commemorated the Russo-Japanese War of 1904-1905 (Meiji 37-38). |
