Yokohama Meiji 1890s Kozaburo Tamamura

A shop in front of Zotokuin (増徳院), a buddhist temple in Motomachi, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. The building on the far left is the Yakushi-do (薬師堂). It was moved to the Horikawa River (堀川), where it still is located today. Zotokuin was destroyed by the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923 (Taisho 12).
