Tokyo Meiji 1890s Kazumasa Ogawa

Managed by the legendary Morita Kanya (守田勘弥, 1846-1897), the Shintomiza (新富座) was Tokyo’s premier theater. This is the theater as it looked after the fire of 1876 (Meiji 9). See blog entry.
