The 5th Industrial Exhibition (第五回内国勧業博覧会) held in Osaka in 1903 (Meiji 36). The exhibition was held from March 1 through July 31 in Tennoji and attracted 4,350,693 visitors. It was Japan’s first national industrial exhibition to be held at night, with illumination as one of its many attractions. |
