Hairdressers at work at trailblazing hairdresser Torako Iga’s hair salon in Shinbashi, Tokyo. Together with famous Shinbashi hairdressers Fumiko Sekiguchi (関口文子) and Chiyo Kuwashima (桑島千代), Torako Iga (伊賀とら子) established the Tokyo Women’s Beauty School (東京女子美髪学校) in 1913 (Taisho 2).
