The Court Of Cassation (Daishinin, 大審院) in Tokyo, completed in 1896 (Meiji 29). The building was designed by German architects Wilhelm Böckmann (ヴィルヘルム・ベックマン, 1832–1902) and Hermann Ende (ヘルマン・エンデ, 1829–1907). The name was later changed to Tokyo Supreme Court (東京高等裁判所). |
