Boats on the Kizugawa River in Osaka. On the right is Hyakkenbori River. The island in the back is Enokojima, the location of Osaka Prefectural Office. It was completed in July 1874 (Meiji 7). In 1926 (Taisho 15), the Prefectural Office moved to its current location in Otemae, Chuo-ku and Enokojima lost its importance. |
