Koinobori (carp banners) float in the wind during Tango no Sekku festival in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. Until recently known as Boys’ Day or Flag Festival, it is held on May 5.

The photo is taken from Kurumabashi Bridge (車橋). The area on the left is Ishikawa-machi (石川町), Miyoshi-machi (三吉町) is on the right.
