Japanese children and their parents admire a US military Willys Jeep Station Wagon during the occupation of Japan after WWII, 1947 (Showa 22). The Jeep Wagon was designed by famed industrial designer Brooks Stevens (1911–1995) in the mid-1940s, and was produced in the United States from 1946 (Showa 21) to 1965 (Showa 40).
