Festival lanterns at Bentendori in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. During the Meiji Period (1868-1912), this was Yokohama’s premier shopping street.

In the back, the clock tower of watch and clock merchant Kawakita Naozo Shotencan be seen. It was the street’s most important landmark.
