People in front of the entrance of Minatogawa Jinja on Tamon-dori in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture. The photographer pointed his camera towards Aioibashi Bridge, which would have been at the horizon. Minatogawa Jinja is one of the most important shinto shrines in Kobe. This French postcard has a very realistic, almost journalistic, feel. This postcard is from a series of French cards shot sometime between 1902 and 1907. |
