PURCHASE A LICENSE

Shizuoka Meiji 1900s Tonboya Studio

Mt. Fuji from a bridge along the Tokaido, sometime between 1900 (Meiji 33) and 1907 (Meiji 40).

Based on the shape of the mountain, this is somewhere between Numazu (沼津) and Yoshiwara (吉原) in Shizuoka Prefecture.

Numazu-juku (沼津宿) was the twelfth of the fifty-three stations of the Tokaido.
