A streetcar passes in front of Rakutenchi, an amusement park in Sennichimae, Osaka that was in business between 1914 (Taisho 3) and 1930 (Showa 5). Rakutenchi featured theaters, entertainment and all kinds of other leisure. During the Taisho Period it was one of Osaka’s most fashionable and well-known places. |
