Winter view of Imadobashi Bridge (今戸橋) spanning the Sanyabori canal (山谷堀) in the Asakusa district of Tokyo.

In the back is Matsuchiyama (待乳山), a small hill on the west side of the Sumida River.

On top, Honryuin Temple (本龍院) can be seen. Locally known as Matsuchiyama Shoden (待乳山聖天), it is a sub temple of Sensoji and dedicated to Bishamonten, one of the Seven Gods of Good Luck.

Japanese author Kafu Nagai mentioned this place in his novel Sumida River (すみだ川), published in 1911 (Meiji 44).
