Rokkaku-do Temple (六角堂) in Kyoto.

The Buddhist temple’s official name is Choho-ji (頂法寺). According to legend, the temple was established by Prince Shotoku. It is believed to have been established in the early Heian period (794 to 1185).

The temple is part of the Saigoku Kannon Pilgrimage (西国三十三所), a pilgrimage of thirty-three Buddhist temples throughout the Kansai region of Japan.
