Men are heaving a mikoshi, a portable Shinto shrine, during a matsuri (religious festival) procession on Bashamichi-dori in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture.

The building on the right is the Tomitake-tei (富竹亭) theater owned by Takejiro Takeuchi (竹内竹次郎), who ran three other yose theaters in Yokohama.
